Plans to erect a six-storey building to accommodate residents, companies and retail outlets have been submitted.
The proposals for the building are for construction on 42-50 Duke Street, in Douglas.
The application is for the structure to have a multi-purpose complex for offices, retail and 11 residential spaces.
The site is currently occupied by Car Shop, Fentons Butchers, Lunch Box and New Manila.
Along with construction it would also involve demolition of the existing buildings on that site.
