There are plans to convert a rural storage building into a new veterinary practice.
Ellan Veterinary Practice Limited has submitted a planning application for Ballacallin Beg on the Foxdale Road near Braaid.
The company says it would focus on orthopaedic and diagnostic scans, as these services are currently limited on the Island.
