Efforts to raise £1.5 million for a new dedicated breast cancer unit have picked up pace.
The Manx Breast Cancer Support Group has unveiled plans for the new facility at Noble’s Hospital.
Around £300,000 of the money needed has already been raised – the money is going towards a unit which will incorporate symptomatic and screening units.
Each year 100 women and men are diagnosed with breast cancer on the Island.
Chairman Julie Stokes says it is an achievable aim:
MHK to present immigration petition to Tynwald
Injured walker rescued from Snaefell
Town centre road shut for five days this week
Royal Assent for laws giving parents and carers more rights
New cafe opens in iconic former pub
