Plans for improved Port Erin go on display

The Isle of Man’s regeneration manager has told 3FM that Port Erin needs to be more welcoming to visitors.

Plans on how the south west will be revitalised will go on display at the Railway Museum today (Thursday) and will provide an update on the projects included in the town and regeneration scheme.  

Port Erin railway station has been earmarked as a new public transport hub and community area and there are also plans for the bus station to be moved from Bridson Street to Station Road. 

Speaking to 3FM Linda McCauley said plans had been thought about for some time because first impressions count:
