A former Island care home in Laxey could be converted into apartments, if planning officials give the go ahead.
Proposals have been submitted to change the use of the old Glen House Residential Home on New Road to create 10 apartments and a two-story section into a single property.
Those behind the application say the plans have been carefully considered to preserve and protect the character and nature of the building within the conservation area.
They add whilst public parking is available there they hope, if approved, potential occupants wouldn't be reliant on vehicles given its central location in the town.
