Proposed changes to planning rules could improve the vitality of and activity in the Island's town centres.
That's according to Policy and Reform Minister, Chris Thomas MHK, as the government asks for peoples views on proposals to change laws around permitted development rights.
The rights are grants of approval for certain work without the need for a planning application - if approved, officials say the alterations could also help towards tackling climate change.
Those wanting to take part in the consultation on the subject can do so on the online government consultation hub before the deadline on Monday, March 30.
