A planning application has been submitted to transform the old Marine Biological Station in Port Erin.
Sea Breezes Properties Limited put forward an application on April 15th to convert the building which is currently derelict.
It’s asking for approval in principle to convert the existing station into a marine interpretation centre.
This would include a retail unit, cafe, dive centre, offices for marine related business and a 20 bedroom hotel with parking and landscaping.
The application is currently pending consideration.
