A sound recording facility at a former film studio in the north of the Island could be transformed into a nursery.
Shondelle Rhoden of Cronk Road in Ballaugh has applied for planning permission to open the business at the Mountain View Innovation Centre in Lezayre.
In her application, she says the recording studio would cater for 32 children aged between two and five.
And she adds the site has plenty of car parking to be able to accommodate parents as thy pick up and drop off their youngsters.
