Fault In The Cockpit Meant All Passangers Disembarked
A plane that was on its way to the island last night had to make an emergency landing due to an electrical fault in the cockpit.
The flybe plane was travelling from London Gatwick when the captain noticed the slight electrical smell in the aircraft cockpit
He decided to divert to Manchester where all 45 passengers were disembarked as quickly as possible through the emergency chutes.
The plane was checked over in Manchester and all passengers travelled to the Island this morning.
An investigation is underway.
