Firefighters were mobilised yesterday after a light aircraft crashed in Douglas.
Teams were called to Mount Rule at around 2.50pm on Friday.
When crews arrived, they found the two people who'd been in the aircraft had managed to get themselves out - they were then given precautionary checks by paramedics.
Emergency services were at the scene for around two hours.
