A Ramsey property called Ben my Chree may be replaced with a mobile sauna, if a planning application is approved.
Michael Howland of Ramsey has applied to replace the now-demolished cottage on Queen's Promenade with a sauna cabin.
In his application, he says it would be hired out on weekdays between 8.30am to 11.30am and 4pm to 5pm, and from 8am to midday and 4pm to 8pm on weekends for one year.
And he says the temporary summer facility would complement nearby sea activities such as swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding on what is currently a derelict site.
