Douglas Council has asked to keep temporary changing rooms at football pitches in Pulrose.
The local authority has applied for planning permission to have the Spring Valley changing facilities for another 36 months.
It says three local football clubs need to keep the temporary structure while plans for permanent facilities are being developed.
In its application, the council says Pulrose United and Douglas Athletic are forming a company to lease the fields and develop a permanent changing facility.
