The response from ex-medical staff to help with the Covid-19 vaccine programme has been 'phenomenal'.
Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford MHK, made the comments during this weeks government Coronavirus briefing.
Mr Ashford added, as of Thursday, around 80 personnel were being trained and training for current staff has been completed to help with what is expected to be the biggest mass vaccination programme the Isle of Man has ever undertaken.
The minister's previously stated they're currently confident jabs will start being administered from Monday next week (December 21).
