Petition to save Southern swimming pool

A petition has been launched to save the Southern swimming pool.

It comes following financial trouble for the pool in Castletown - with ratepayers in the south looking set to more than double their contributions towards the facility.

The pool's board says because of pandemic closures, maintenance and increases in fuel costs, it's facing major financial difficulty

Now, a petition, set up by local woman Angela Katz, wants to ensure the pool is a facility all generations can 'enjoy and benefit from'.
