An online petition to ban cyclists from the Mountain Road has now reached almost 350 signatures.
Lee Smith started the campaign on Change.org earlier this week, claiming that backlogs of traffic are caused by bicycles on the section of TT course.
He also argued the unrestricted stretch of road between Douglas and Ramsey is a "hotbed" for accidents, and pedal bikes should be excluded for their own safety and that of others.
