A petition calling for an Island ban on face masks and other coverings has gathered more than 200 signatures.
It wants to see items of clothing like balaclavas and ski masks fully prohibited in public.
Those behind the change.org petition say banning face coverings would strengthen social cohesion, cultural values, and security.
They claim it would also ensure fairness, safety and a unified island.
