Petition calls for resignations at Peel Commissioners

An online petition is calling for the clerk and chair of Peel Commissioners to resign.

The change.org petition was set up by residents at the weekend, after a row over a proposed stage for live music on Peel beach.

The board found itself split last week over whether a vote had taken place - with a statement from the town hall criticising Katryna Baptist after she raised concerns over governance.

The petition says Peel ratepayers have lost confidence in the board's leadership and are calling for resignations.
