Fire crews from Castletown and Douglas helped free a person from a car following a crash in the South.
At 7.10 pm last night crews received a call from the Emergency Services Joint Control Room to respond to a two-vehicle crash at the Fairy Bridge.
Officers found a single person trapped due to their injuries - cutting equipment was then used to remove the roof of the vehicle to free them.
The person was safely taken out and transferred to an ambulance, with the road reopened by police at 11 pm.
