A BMX track in Kirk Michael is closing permanently due to a change in land ownership at the Fish Farm.
Michael Commissioners say it tried to negotiate a continuation of a lease with the new land owner but was ‘unsuccessful’.
The local authority says it is looking at other ‘possibilities’ for the village, but it needs to be easily ‘accessible’.
Parents in the village are urged to make sure children don’t use the track.
