People are being reminded to ensure their name is on the electoral registration list if they want to vote.
The government is currently compiling the list - although there are no planned elections on the horizon by-elections do pop up periodically for both the House of Keys and local authorities.
Forms have recently gone out to all homes and people need to fill them in annually if they want to be included on the registration list.
Current registers can be viewed by the public at any local authority office or at the government’s General Registry and Illiam Dhone buildings in Douglas.
