Residents are being urged not to feed horses if they're out and about.
The Isle of Man branch of the British Horse Society (BHS) has issued the plea after receiving reports of members of the public feeding the animals.
BHS says whilst it's an innocent act, it can inadvertently lead to horses becoming seriously ill, suffering significant injuries or even dying.
Officials from the group are hoping everyone can help raise awareness of the matter.
