Authorities are reminding residents an area of Douglas Promenade is closed to pedestrians.
The constabulary's Roads Policing Unit says it's been getting reports of some ignoring the no-pedestrians signs on the temporary roadway between the bottom of Broadway and the War Memorial.
Officers says pedestrians are prohibited from being on this section for their own safety and larger vehicles have reported some near misses with people and children there.
As a result, Police are reminding residents are being re-routed via the Villa Marina Colonnade and to use the diversion for their own safety.
