Vivien Proven of Seacliffe View in Onchan was excused appearing before magistrates at Douglass Courthouse.
The 84 year old denies causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care and attention in Port Jack on January 2.
Magistrates adjourned her case until the start of a two-day trial on February 24.
