A pensioner from Ballasalla has been warned she needs to "pay more attention" after crashing into the back of a bus.
86-year- old Grace Johnston, of Silverburn Crescent, hit the double-decker after pulling out of a junction on Stevenson Way in Farmhill on April 19.
At Douglas Courthouse this week she pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention and failing to report a crash.
The court heard Johnston's car collided with the bus - which had stopped at a bus stop - causing minor damage; instead of stopping she drove off.
Her advocate described it as a "momentary lapse of judgement" and said any disqualification would leave Johnston "extremely isolated".
Magistrates fined her £500 and ordered her to pay court costs of £50 - they also endorsed her driving licence with six penalty points.
