A Peel woman who crashed her car on the Poortown Road turned out to be almost three times over the drink-drive limit, a court’s heard.
Beth Houston-McMillan of Ballellis on the Ballawattleworth Estate admitted drink-driving when she appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The court heard the 48 year old crashed her car on May 12 and a blood alcohol test gave a reading of 234, when the legal limit is 80.
Magistrates adjourned the case while a pre-sentencing report is prepared.
Houston-McMillan will appear in court again on October 17 for sentencing.
