A former hairdressing salon in the centre of Peel could become the town's next laundrette, if a planning application is given the green light.
James Turpin of Douglas has applied for permission to convert the premises on Michael Street into a self-service clothes-washing facility.
The unit, between the former Simpsons store and Manx Dolphin and Whale Watch's headquarters, would have four washing machines and dryers under the proposals.
In his application, Mr Turpin says the unit would open from 7am until 10pm each day.
