Peel residents to voice policing concerns at public meeting

The meeting will be held at Centenary Centre at 7pm on Tuesday

Peel residents will next week be able to have their say on local policing and the impact cut backs are having on their town.

The Police Consultative Forum has so far staged two public meetings, so far hearing the views of concerned local residents from Douglas and Port Erin.

The Police service recently had their annual budgets reduced by £3 million per year, as a consequence staffing levels have been reduced.

Adrian Christian is a member of the consultative forum, he spoke about one of the major problems currently facing Peel.
