Plans are in place to convert the Peel Medical Centre into
the town’s police station.

would provide the team with operational, effective and appropriate
accommodation for allowing a multi agency approach to policing.
In contrast to the Medical Centre the courthouse
design has been identified as not being conducive to modern policing, hence the
desire to move.
