Peel Lifeboat stalwart John Teare has been honoured with a Long Service Medal.
It was presented to him by Chairman Stuart Blackley for his 50 years with the lifeboat.
During this time John has focussed on vital fundraising efforts for the charity.
One of the highlights of his 14 years as Chairman was welcoming the arrival if the station's Mersey class all-weather lifeboat, 'Ruby Clery' in 1992.
