Police are appealing for information after it was confirmed Peel Clothworkers\' Primary School was broken in to over the weekend.
The incident occurred between 7 and 9 on Saturday night.
Offenders smashed two windows of a classroom at the rear of the building and stole three white Apple Macbook laptops to the value of just under £1,600.
The laptops were used by schoolchildren every day and were a valuable asset to the school.
Anyone who has any information about the burglary or was in the area at the time is urged to contact Stuart Gardner of the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team on 631555.
