The transition of patient transfer services is getting underway today.
Across today and tomorrow the operations will be moving from its current base at Noble's Hospital to the Department of Health and Social Care's headquarters at Crookall House in Douglas.
The service will continue to run whilst the change is happening - those with non-urgent bookings are asked to e-mail or call the office rather than visit in person.
Officials say the new location will offer more space for the busy operations, reflects preferences of patients for a convenient office in the capital and a space for anyone wishing to discuss matters in private.
