Don’t be caught out with an invalid passport this holiday season.
That’s the warning from the passport office which is urging people planning to travel to ensure their documentation is upto date and valid.
March represents the start of the busy period for the office, with application process times increasing.
Currently the waiting time stands at five days, this can increase up to a peak of 40 days as demand surges.
The general message is to first check everything is in order before booking a trip.
