Parliament Street in Ramsey will be closed to all vehicles due to emergency foul sewer works from now until 6pm on 17th November.
Vehicular traffic will be temporarily terminated from the junction with Christian Street to the junction with Tower Street.
Alternative routes are via Christian Street, Albert Road and Tower Street.
There's still pedestrian access to the street and all shops and businesses are open as usual.
Vehicles exempt from the closure are emergency services, road maintenance vehicles and vehicles in need of recovery and examination – others should be requested from the department in writing.
