Parliament Square in Ramsey will be off-limits to spectators during the rest of the TT festival.
Organisers made the announcement this morning, saying the popular spot will now be a restricted area.
Yesterday, a rider and eight spectators were injured during an incident which led to the practice session being called off.
Two people remain in hospital, while the racer and other spectators have been discharged.
