A Bride man has been fined after being caught parking in a disabled car parking space.
51-year- old James Richard Penn, of Bride Road, didn't have a badge when he left his vehicle in Station Road car park in Ramsey on June 2.
He was spotted by the town's traffic warden and admitted the offence via Coroner's Admission at Douglas Courthouse this week.
In mitigation Penn told the court he'd been in a bike crash and had suffered injuries that made walking "very difficult".
He added he'd only been parked up for five to 10 minutes.
Magistrates fined him £200 and ordered him to pay court costs of £125.
