Parents are being reminded they must register their children for school.
Pupils are admitted to schools’ reception classes at the beginning of the academic year in which they attain their fifth birthday.
To help the school prepare for September’s influx of new children the parents are required to register their child as soon as possible.
Catchment areas exist for each school. Any parent unsure which catchment area they reside in should contact the Department of Education and Children.
