The IoM education minister says her department has to walk a fine line when it comes to enforcing masks in schools.
This week in Tynwald, Julie Edge faced a question from Arbory, Malew and Castletown MHK Jason Moorhouse about face coverings in schools.
Masks are currently 'expected' but not compulsory for all secondary pupils and UCM students.
Mrs Edge said parents are divided over the issue:
Breaking park's speed limit endangers children, say commissioners
Police appeal after bike crash
No more TT this year - and Dean Harrison awarded Senior win
Condition updates on three riders after Friday crashes
£10k raised by popular charity walk
Further two-hour delay to planned racing
Mountain closed because of pressure on emergency services
