The parent company of Manx Gas has been sold.
Ancala Partners LLP has acquired 100 per cent of the International Energy Group.
IEG - a natural gas and LPG distribution and supply business - has been supplying gas to the Island since the 1830s.
Ancala reportedly wants to invest and grow the business and ensure existing and future customers will benefit from "the best possible service, product offering and value for money".
Manx Gas has declined to comment further.
