A former nightclub in Douglas could be transformed into a cafe and barbers shop, if planning officials give the green light.
Proposals have been put forward to convert Paramount City into a cafe and barbers shop on the ground floor and the first and second floors into a residential area.
Plans for the first floor include a gym, wet room, a cinema/games room and an office.
The venue closed in 2011 but re-opened on New Year's Eve of that year under its former name of 'The Crescent', however it shut not long after following a quiet period in the nightlife scene.
The applicant behind the plans says combining the coffee shop with a hairdressing location could be a fantastic opportunity to provide a meeting hub at the northern end of the promenade similar to that of the Sea Terminal.
