A man and woman will be sentenced in the Court of General Gaol Delivery after admitting to smuggle drugs into the Island.
Megan Louise Fielden of Newtown in Santon and William Thomas Prince of The Threshold in Jurby appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
24-year-old Fielden and 32 year old Prince admitted two counts of producing cannabis to the Island on July 7 2020, while Fielden also admitted being concerned in supplying the drug between April and July last year.
Magistrates said the case was too serious to be heard in a summary court and it would have to be sent to the higher court.
Both were bailed in the sum of £500 to appear in court again on March 18.
