Onchan could be getting a new indoor padel tennis facility after a company asked commissioners about leasing part of the Pleasure Park.
The local authority says it will ask the government for permission to rent out an area on part of the miniature golf course next door to Hague Crescent and St Anthony's Church.
The developer says it hopes to take bookings online and open the facility 24/7, subject to planning approval.
The local authority says the facility would be funded entirely by the company, which would pay rent for the site.
