Douglas council say it wants to transform its tennis courts in Noble's Park.
The local authority has applied for planning permission to turn the four existing courts into six padel tennis courts.
In its application, it says padel tennis is becoming increasingly popular and requires smaller play areas.
If approved, the courts could be hired with a special keycode system.
