Consulation Questionnaire Results Reveal Majority in Favour Of New Marina For Ramsey
The findings of last year’s consultation into the possibility of a marina in Ramsey have been published.
Throughout the two consultation days held back in October 930 people attended, with 641 people returning their questionnaires.
589 people voted in favour of a marine development, with 52 not wanting one at all.
Of those in favour the greater majority favoured impounding water in the whole harbour upstream of the swing bridge.
Member for Harbours, MLC David Callister has said the preferences expressed are significant, and in due course, the Department will consider the next stages in the process.
