The government body responsible for overseas funding and emergency aid is undergoing a rebrand.
The Overseas Aid Committee will know be known as the International Development Committee.
The focus will be on establishing partnerships with countries ranked as ‘low’ on the UN Human Development Index.
This includes funding for education and training as well as providing access to technical expertise in areas including finance and fisheries.
Committee chairman Phil Gawne says the changes mean our contributions will work harder:
