Overnight parking fees in car parks by Douglas Promenade are being suspended from Monday.
Charges at Parade Street East, Parade Street West and The Tongue between 8pm and 6.30am will be lifted from June 24 whilst the refurbishment on the prom continues to take place.
The Department of Infrastructure says the move is to help support local residents and businesses during the work in the area.
The move was announced over social media by the DOI this week.
