An Island charity which helps people with addiction is marking International Overdose Awareness Day today.
Motiv8 is urging people to talk about overdoses and the impact they can have on users, their family and friends, and the emergency services.
It's also reminding people they can pick up free kits to save lives if people take opioid overdoses.
