The Department of Infrastructure says just over 60,000 people currently hold full driving licenses on the Island.
A Freedom of Information request asked the department to give figures for the number of people who'd passed their tests in automatic and manual cars.
The DOI says it doesn't keep the split statistics, but a total of 60,126 people have full licenses.
That includes 59 16 year olds, and 3,076 drivers aged 80 or over.
