An annual Island charity event has now raised over £250,000 for bowel cancer research.
The Stars Group recently held its yearly golf day at Mount Murray Golf Club in Santon in aid of the Bobby Moore Fund generating just under £40,000 this time around to surpass the landmark.
The occasion began in 2011 and the fund is in memory of legendary footballer, Bobby Moore OBE and was set up by his widow, Stephanie Moore MBE - since its inception over £27million has been raised to help pioneering research into the disease.
Head of Corporate Giving at The Stars Group, Sue Hammett, says they're proud to continue to support such a worthwile event on the Isle of Man.
