The Chief Minister has issued a message of support to the UK as a new lockdown comes into force across the water.
England and Scotland brought in tougher new measures at midnight aiming to curb rising cases of Covid-19 and are asking people to stay at home except for a handful of permitted reasons with schools also remaining closed for most pupils.
Following the announcement, Howard Quayle MHK said 'our thoughts are with our friends across in the UK'.
He also reiterated that the Council of Ministers regularly reviews the Coronavirus situation and will continue to do so.
