Cabinet Office Minister David Ashford says a new organ donation system for the Island needs to be 'right, not rushed'.
The Human Tissue and Organ Donation Act, or Daniel's Law - which was given Royal assent in 2021 - aims to move to an opt-out system instead on the current opt-in..
Mr Ashford says he doesn't know when the new system will be introduced, saying it hasn't been a quick process.
And he added he wants the new rules to be right first time:
